As a business owner, you go to business meetings, networking events and conferences. You meet new people all the time. You end up with pockets full of business cards. Every single one of these business cards is an opportunity. Rather than just add them to your email database and automatically send them emails (I do not recommend this!), use digital to enhance the initial connection and create opportunities.
One year ago this week I created my first Facebook Live video. I had been anticipating it since the launch of Facebook Mentions in July 2016, a version of Facebook Live just for celebrities and verified profiles (ones with the blue tick). Facebook Live has really taken off in the last 12 months and has no sign of slowing down.

When we include images on Social Media posts we also get better engagement. According to Facebook, posts with images get 47% higher engagement rate.
